Focus with the Thunder 3.0 has brought out a unique design with the pivot locations with what they call the Knuckle Box design. The design give very low chain growth values which give almost zero pedal feedback. Also the design of the Knuckle Box is built to have a low center of gravity to keep you on the terrain.

All of this is lays on top of Rodi D540 rims that we covered with Schwalbe Fat Albert tires. When looking for an all mountain bike you will be hard pressed to find a better option than the Focus Thunder 3.0.

The rear suspension has been upgraded with the Fully Integrated Rear Suspension Technology (F.I.R.S.T) to keep you on the smoothest ride possible. For more control of the bike the Focus team added a four bar linkage with shock travel to keep you in control.

The bike is driven by the F.I.R.S.T Fully Integrated Rear Suspension Technology. This gives you an extremely stiff bike. The frame is a High Module Full carbon frame with an F-120 remote frame fork. You will be holding onto this bike with Truvativ Riser carbon Stlyo Race handle bars. All of this is placed on DT Swiss X-1800 Rims that are covered with Schwalbe Nobby Nic white label tires.
