Mongoose has been known for over 3 decades producing mountain bikes. The Mongoose Pinn’R Apprentice is on the new FreeDrive suspension on the FreeDrive frame. The suspension has been designed to isolate the pedal force while allowing the rear suspension to stay active. You will be amazed that even though the bottom bracket stays in motion the bike stays consistently stable. What actually happens is that you are able to maintain more speed from your energy keeping you ahead. Another added benefit is that the power remains consistent when moving uphill.
To get this power to the ground the Apprentice rides on SUN Ditch Witch rims that come with Kenda Excavator DH tires with Stick-E rubber. This combination loves to be abused on rough terrain and then make the high speed turn in the corners. All of this gets controlled to a stop by the white Avid Juicy Three brakes.
Apprentice is a misleading name as this bike can handle the toughest terrain. If you are looking for a economical smart bike that is of high vale you have found your match. The Mongoose Pinn’R Apprentice does not disappoint.
