The GT Marathon Carbon Expert is built on the GT I drive 4 monocoque carbon frame. The front triangle and rear triangle have just 4 inches of travel. This is the lightest full suspension carbon frame in the GT lineup. The frame has been designed to maintain hours of rigorous use.
You will notice that the rear wheel has just 100mm of travel with the custom made Fox Float RP2. This will allow the bike to go over the most difficult terrain without punishing you. You will also notice that with the reduction in bike weight you will be able to use less energy to get the bike along the path.
With the GT Marathon Carbon Expert you will be riding on Mavic Crossride rims that get covered in Kendra Karmon with Kevlar bead and DTC compound tires. For added comfort the bike has come with FIZIK Gobi XM saddle with Manganese Rails.
