The GT ID5 I-Drive XCR Mountain Bike is built for one thing and that is to be the most bike efficient when getting across the mountain side. The bike weighs in at 32lbs which allows you to do is just enjoy the ride on the way down. You will be surprised the first time you let go of the brakes and head down. You will be there faster than you could image. This is all possible with the GT I-Drive suspension frame and system. This is coupled well with the Rock Shox Recon 327 Air Fork. The I-Drive comes with the Float RP2 air shocks to handle the bumps.
This package rides on Alex DP20 rims with sealed bearing hubs that get covered with Maxxis Ignitor 2.3” tires. When it comes time to hit the brakes you will feel comfortable with the Avid Juicy 3 Hydraulic brakes and levers.
The GT ID5 I-Drive XCR is built to handle the mountain. You will be able to get up the mountain with an efficient climber. This bike really shines when it is time for the descent.
