The newest bike coming out of the German factor Focus is the Thunder 3.0. This is a mountain bike that will take care all of your needs. After one ride you will be ready for your next trip out. The Thunder 3.0 is an achievement from the Focus staff. The bike comes with a frame that is linear lightly progressive on damped linkage to give you a smoother ride. The shock absorption has been built to last longer so you are not looking to replace parts at any time.
Focus with the Thunder 3.0 has brought out a unique design with the pivot locations with what they call the Knuckle Box design. The design give very low chain growth values which give almost zero pedal feedback. Also the design of the Knuckle Box is built to have a low center of gravity to keep you on the terrain.
All of this is lays on top of Rodi D540 rims that we covered with Schwalbe Fat Albert tires. When looking for an all mountain bike you will be hard pressed to find a better option than the Focus Thunder 3.0.
