The Felt Compulsion 1 is the top of the line bike in the Compulsion line of bikes. The Compulsion 1 rides on the Felt Equilink 7005 aluminum frame. With the Equilink frame Felt was able to produce a frame that was stiff enough to handle the toughest terrain and light enough to coast up the steepest climbs. The shock is the Rock Shox Monarch 4.2 with adjustable floodgate and high volume can. The fork is a Rock Shox Revleation Team Maxle. All of this brings out an optimal core of the bike.
To get the bikes power to the ground the Compulsion 1 comes with Foclum Red Metal 1 HH rims on Felt Devox SAM mountain tires. The tires have an aggressive All Mountain High Void tread design and XX traction dual compound.
The Felt Compulsion 1 is a great setup. With the Equilink frame you have a top of the line base. With this top of line version the components are A+ making this a complete package. For those looking to ride over the most difficult terrains without abusing themselves you have found the right bike.
